This extra-extra-large (XXL) female skunk hide originates from Idaho and represents a solid taxidermy-quality specimen with excellent size and overall presentation. Properly prepared and case skinned, the hide retains key anatomical features, making it suitable for professional mounting work.

The pelt features winter-type fur with nice long guard hairs along the back and a dense underfur, providing good volume and contrast. While the fur is slightly thinner on the belly and underside—typical for skunk hides—the dorsal fur and overall coverage remain strong. The tail is somewhat thinner than average but still maintains good, even coverage.
