An Eltham pad filled with taxidermy animals is ruffling a few feathers online, racking up almost 20,000 views on realestate.com.au in a matter of days.
Barry Plant director Jason Stepanow said the wildlife theme at 24 Echidna Rd may not be to everyone’s taste, but buyers had flocked to get a glimpse of the renovated four-bedroom abode on a large 1749sq m block.

“In three days it had 12,000 views, which is huge. Admittedly, I do put it down to the fact it does have all the taxidermy.
“But at the same time, it is one of the bigger blocks in this particular estate and it’s a great family home.”
Mr Stepanow said Echidna Rd was one of the premier streets in Eltham with primary and secondary schools nearby.
A fun circus theme is on show in the nursery.
Chandeliers and bold colour schemes add to the wow factor.
