Keith Redmon Departing Black Bear for Vendôme (EXCLUSIVE) – Variety

Keith Redmon, a veteran talent manager and Oscar-nominated producer, will depart Black Bear and join Philippe Rousselet’s Vendôme, the Academy Award-winning banner behind “CODA.”
At Vendôme, Redmon will continue representing several of his longtime clients, including Morten Tyldum (“Silo”, “The Imitation Game”), John Hillcoat (“George & Tammy”, “The Road”), Raine Allen-Miller (“Rye Lane”), Michaël Roskam (“The Drop,” “Bullhead”) and Kyle Killen (“Man on Fire,” “The Beaver”). Redmon is also producing Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy’s “Blood Meridian,” which is being adapted by John Logan with Hillcoat directing for New Regency.

Vendôme and Black Bear have several projects they are developing together. Led by Rousselet and co-CEO Fabrice Gianfermi, Vendôme became the first French production company to win three Academy Awards, including best picture in 2022 with “CODA.” Upcoming projects include “Ibelin,” directed by Tyldum; the “Lord of War” sequel, “Lords of War,” starring Nicolas Cage and Bill Skarsgård and directed by Andrew Niccol; and Oren Moverman’s “The Man With the Miraculous Hands,” starring Woody Harrelson.
Redmon joined Black Bear in 2021, heading up the company’s newly created management division alongside Partner Joanne Roberts Wiles. While at Black Bear, Redmon expanded the company’s management arm. Prior to his tenure at Black Bear, he spent nearly two decades at Anonymous Content, where he was a partner and head of its international division. He also spearheaded the formation of Chapter One, a U.K. joint venture with United Agents and Casarotto Ramsay & Associates, as well as AC Nordic and AC Brazil.
Black Bear’s existing management team will remain in place.
Redmon received an Oscar nomination for producing Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s “The Revenant,” which grossed $533 million worldwide and won three Academy Awards, including best actor for Leonardo DiCaprio. Other producing credits include Neil Burger’s “The Marsh King’s Daughter,” starring Daisy Ridley and Ben Mendelsohn; George Clooney’s “The Midnight Sky”; and John Hillcoat’s “Triple 9.”
