Whether they are kayaking, taking scenic road trips, or hiking snow-covered trails, Zheng brings Fres along on every journey. But it isn’t just the breathtaking destinations that have captivated millions: it’s the pure bliss beaming from Fres. In one viral video with over 15 million likes, the owner unzips their cozy sleeping bag nestled right in the heart of nature to reveal an unforgettable morning scene.
As the sleeping bag peels back to reveal a beautiful mountain backdrop, the wolf dog wakes up blissfully, eyes gently closed, a satisfied smile on his face, and melts into his owner’s arms for cuddles.

Watching the peaceful pup purr with contentment in his sleeping bag prompted viewers to flood the comment section with declarations like, “This dog is happiness itself,” and jokingly ask, “Are you a cat living in a wolf’s skin? 😂 I hear serious purring.” It’s an infectious display of warmth that shows just how deeply dogs express their joy.

Beyond the stunning outdoor escapades, Zheng uses their platform to offer followers a daily dose of perspective through poetic captions written from his pup’s point of view. Some of those are: “Maybe the best days aren’t about going somewhere far away. They’re about having someone who’s willing to go anywhere with you, and choosing to make them your way home.”
Beyond the views and viral clips lies the simplest truth: the deepest connections are built on love and trust in the ones always by your side.

Adopting a wolf-dog is one of those distant dreams of mine… XD I’d love to, but I don’t have the money or the space to give a hybrid the comfortable life they deserve. I also don’t want to encourage the breeding of wolf-dog hybrids, as (much like the fake “dire wolves” of Colossal Biosciences) the continued “production” of wolf hybrids can negatively affect conservation for the actual real gray wolf, and can threaten the genetics of wild populations as well.
