The Psychedelic Furs And Living Colour Reschedule Postponed Tour For Spring 2027 – That Eric Alper

The Psychedelic Furs and Living Colour have found new dates for their postponed joint tour, with the two bands now scheduled to hit the road together for 23 shows in spring 2027. The rescheduled run begins March 24 in San Antonio and continues through May 1 in Northfield, Ohio.
The original tour was announced May 5 and was supposed to include more than 20 concerts beginning in late July 2026. Just three days after the announcement, the entire run was called off, with The Psychedelic Furs citing a “serious medical issue in the band.”
The band is now on the mend and preparing to return to the stage even before the Living Colour dates begin. The Psychedelic Furs have a separate run of fall 2026 concerts starting October 29 in Rocklin, California, followed by stops across California, Nevada and Arizona.
That fall schedule includes a November 11 Riverside show with Gary Numan, who toured with The Psychedelic Furs in 2025, as well as a November 14 appearance at Darker Waves Festival in Huntington Beach. Previously cancelled headlining dates with We Are Scientists have also been rescheduled.
Living Colour have remained busy in the meantime. The band performed in honour of George Clinton at the Songwriters Hall of Fame, appeared on NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ and played their own 2026 dates. Their most recent studio album remains 2017’s ‘Shade,’ while guitarist Vernon Reid released the solo album ‘Hoodoo Telemetry’ in 2025.
The reunited 2027 itinerary stretches across Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Ohio. Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Orlando’s Hard Rock Live and Red Bank’s Count Basie Center are among the venues on the schedule.
