'Wolf-type animals' roaming Preston streets caught by police – BBC

Three "wolf-type animals" that were roaming the streets of Lancashire have been tracked down and caught by police.
Lancashire officers said they were called at about 16:15 GMT on Thursday to reports of the animals walking around the Station Lane area of Preston.
Officers, including specially trained dog handlers, captured the three canines and took them to a "safe location".
The force said an investigation into what type of animal they were was ongoing, before they were "handed over to the relevant authorities".
"We know this might have caused some discussion in the community," a Lancashire Police spokesperson said.
The force added there was not thought to be any risk to the public.
