FORT WORTH, Texas — Some bear-y special recent arrivals at the Fort Worth Zoo include two one-year-old American black bear cubs.

The new cubs can be found in the Pineywoods & Swamps habitat in Texas Wild! exhibit at the zoo.
The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks department rescued the orphaned cubs in Montana but determined that releasing them back into the wild was unsafe due to their age and habituation to humans.
Cinnamon’s coat is cinnamon-colored, particularly noticeable in sunlight, unlike her brother Raisin’s typical black bear fur.
Since 2001, the Fort Worth Zoo has been home to black bears. In 2001, the Texas Wild! exhibit also opened.
The exhibit showcases the Lone Star State by guiding visitors through its diverse landscapes.
