Delbridge taxidermy collection may have a new home at the University of Notre Dame – Argus Leader

After a controversial closure of the Delbridge Museum of Natural History last year, the city’s collection of taxidermy mounts might soon have a new caretaker.
The University of Notre Dame’s Museum of Biodiversity has expressed interest in taking ownership of more than 100 taxidermy specimens of the Brockhouse Collection, a 40-yearlong exhibit that was once housed at the Great Plains Zoo until detection of arsenic shuttered the museum.
