2-Minute Video: How Taxidermist Ashley Eve Mounts a Whitetail Deer – Grand View Outdoors

Have you ever wondered what steps a taxidermist takes to complete a head-and-shoulder whitetail deer mount? Check out this outstanding video from Ashley Eve.
South-central Oklahoma taxidermist Ashley Eve put together a super-interesting 2-minute Facebook video showing how she mounts a whitetail deer. Note: This isn’t a how-to video that will help someone mount a deer solo. Instead, it’s simply a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the many steps involved.
Ashley does offer women-only workshops to teach people how to mount a bobcat or coyote. Her workshop is for any level of taxidermy skill, even a woman with no experience. All supplies are included. Click here to learn more.
In my opinion, it’s crazy how a head-and-shoulder deer mount can go from looking a little rough to simply spectacular. Nice work, Ashley!
